Richard Tashjian brings with him almost 25 years of experience in immigration law. Mr. Tashjian received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Providence College, Rhode Island, in 1980 and graduated among the top of his class. While attending Providence College, he was selected as a member of the distinguished international honor society of Economics, Omicron Delta Epsilon. Tashjian attended Vermont Law School, a private school of law in South Royalton, Vermont. He graduated in 1983, also among the top of his class. He clerked for the Rhode Island Supreme Court and then joined the internationally recognized accounting firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers working as a tax consultant. Mr. Tashjian’s keen interest in immigration law beckoned next, and he entered into private practice.

Olympic Gold Medalists, World Champion athletes, Academy Award winners, Grammy Award winners and Fortune 500 executives have all obtained work visas and green cards through his representation. Richard Tashjian has written extensively on the topic of Immigration Law and has been featured and quoted in several journals—nationally and internationally. Clearly in demand, he travels frequently, lecturing worldwide at Immigration, High Technology and Entertainment conferences and seminars. On separate occasions, two presidents of the American Bar Association have personally appointed Tashjian to the ABA Immigration Law Committee.
